Campbell Watts, MS. is an environmental educator and horticultural therapist. She has designed curriculums and led environmental and farm programs for youth at the MA Horticultural Society and the MA Audubon Society. She also developed and led agricultural programs for youth ages 5-19 in the greenhouses and 4-acre organic farm at Green Chimneys School, a residential treatment center in Brewster, NY. Since 1995 her focus has been on creating meaningful work opportunities for at-risk teens. She was a founding member of The Food Project, a non-profit that works with teens to build a more just and sustainable food system in low-income communities in Boston and on the north shore of MA. She has 20 years of experience creating innovative programs to make healthy, local food available and affordable to families with limited resources. In 2011 she moved to Maine full-time where she and her husband live on a small homestead and run a heritage apple CSA. She serves on the Education Committee for MOFGA and is an active volunteer for the Maine Heritage Orchard.
