Presenter:

Emily Brostek, MPH, CHES, joined Hardy Girls Healthy Women as Training Institute Manager in December 2011. Prior to joining the Hardy Girls team, Emily worked in hospitals and health systems in Maine, developing and delivering educational programming and materials. Emily is passionate about spreading Hardy Girls’ approach to promoting the health and wellbeing of women and girls by educating adults through the Training Institute.

Emily is a graduate of Colby College with a degree in Human Development and Philosophy. While at Colby, Emily assisted Lyn Mikel Brown with research on her book, Packaging Girlhood. In 2010, Emily received a Masters of Public Health and a certificate in Interdisciplinary Health Communication from the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health.
