Faith Barnes, LCSW, practices social work at Pond Cove Elementary School in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. Prior to her current position at Pond Cove, Faith worked at Spurwink Services, Inc. as a public school counselor in both elementary and middle schools in Gardiner and Portland. She started her social work career at Triangle Hospice in Durham, North Carolina, where she developed and directed Hospice’s children’s bereavement program. Prior to obtaining her MSW degree, Faith started and managed FB Marketing and Communications, a marketing and public relations business. Faith volunteers for the Center for Grieving Children in the Center’s program for families with a life-changing illness. She is looking forward to becoming more involved with Hardy Girls. She lives in Brunswick with her husband and has two children in college. When she is not working or volunteering, Faith enjoys being out in nature doing the things she loves hiking, skiing, sailing, biking, and being with her family.
