Gallery

Ella is a senior at Waterville Senior High School. She loves exploring nature’s beauty, enjoying the company of her friends, eating yummy foods, and listening to good music. She enjoys being outside and active as well as stimulating her mind with knowledge and pursuing more creative projects. Some of her favorite organized activities are running in the fall as a member of the cross country team, writing articles for her school newspaper, building and painting sets and doing other behind the scenes tech work for her school plays, participating in various events on her school Science Olympiad team, providing support and serving as a role model for a homeroom of freshman as a Homeroom Buddy, mentoring a younger girl through a program called Big Brothers Big Sisters, playing basketball as a helper alongside athletes with disabilities on the unified team, jumping and hurdling during track season, and working to save the environment as a member of her school’s green team. Feminism has been an important value in her life since she was young, and she wants to help younger girls understand what equality is all about and that they are worthy and capable of achieving anything they set their minds to.
