Aurora is heading into her third year on the Girls’ Advisory Board for HGHW! She will be a senior at Baxter Academy in Portland, Maine. Aurora loves the outdoors, specifically going on hikes, swimming, camping, and rowing. She loves to read and listen to music in her free time! Aurora encourages facilitating thoughtful dialogue between groups of people in order to learn from each other’s viewpoints and experiences. This is something that she became passionate about after attending Seeds of Peace. She is so excited for the upcoming year with HGHW!

How I’m causing a ruckus: I cause a ruckus by voicing my opinion in my community and joining other groups/organizations that share my beliefs so we can continue to make change. I believe that listening to other people’s opinions and making room for productive dialogue is necessary to be a change-maker. Using our individual privileges to make consistent, small, and productive decisions is key to working towards a just society.
