Izzy Bailey

Originally hailing from the northern Kennebec Valley, Izzy has been a longtime admirer of Hardy Girls, but until recently has only wistfully looked on from a distance. She has spent most of her adult life working in youth development, but has since shifted gears to work as the Health Equity Coordinator with Maine CDC. In addition to her work in public health, Izzy dedicates her time to various community organizing, food sovereignty, youth mentoring, and climate justice efforts. In her free time, Izzy can be found knitting and mending her wardrobe, tending to her garden, and making beautiful meals with her loved ones.
