FAQ

Due to the location of this community fundraiser, we request that attendees are 21+ (babies in arms/strollers are welcome!). Members of our teen Feminist Action Board—FAB—will serve as emcees and hosts but the event itself is not geared toward youth.

Thanks for asking! We are set on volunteers for this particular community event but if you’re interested in volunteering with Hardy Girls for upcoming events, please submit your information using this form.

Hardy Girls is a Maine-based, research-driven nonprofit. Established in 2000, we partner with girls and nonbinary youth to ignite curiosity, promote critical thinking, build coalitions, and challenge the status quo. We’re about changing the culture, not fixing the girl. Hardy Girls works with 1,200+ girls and nonbinary youth annually through year-round, statewide programs.

Our mission: Hardy Girls takes girls seriously and puts the power in their hands to challenge a society that ignores their brilliance. We dare adult allies to join us.
