THE FESTIVITIES!

FOOD & BEVERAGE

Each event ticket includes one beverage ticket, good toward a Rising Tide beer or hard seltzer, wine, hard cider, or any non-alcoholic option. Your ticket also includes delicious hors d’oeuvres cooked up at The Galley at Rising Tide.

LIVE MUSIC

Attendees will enjoy delicious Rising Tide brews while listening to a local teen bluegrass ensemble, Flight 317.

ACTIVITIES

In between catching up with friends old and new, we encourage attendees to fill out their “Ruckus Passports” by visiting all four of our Activism Action Spots, presented by our youth Feminist Action Board. Make a button to wear your activism loudly, write your legislator about a pressing issue, contribute to FAB’s Community Loom, and snap some pics in our “This is What an Activist Looks Like” frame! Those who fill out their entire passport will go home with HGHW swag.

RAFFLE

Attendees will have the opportunity to enter a raffle to win two tickets to see Brandi Carlile and the Indigo Girls at Thompson’s Point on August 31!

FAQ

Due to the location of this community fundraiser, we request that attendees are 21+ (babies in arms/strollers are welcome!). Members of our teen Feminist Action Board—FAB—will serve as emcees and hosts but the event itself is not geared toward youth.

Thanks for asking! We are set on volunteers for this particular community event but if you’re interested in volunteering with Hardy G*rls Healthy Wom*n for upcoming events, please submit your information using this form.

Hardy G*rls Healthy Wom*n is a Maine-based, research-driven nonprofit. Established in 2000, we partner with girls and gender expansive youth to ignite curiosity, promote thinking critically, build coalitions, and challenge the status quo. We’re about changing the culture, not fixing the g*rl. HGHW works with 1,200+ girls and gender expansive youth annually through year-round, statewide programs.

Our mission: HGHW takes g*rls seriously and puts the power in their hands to challenge a society that ignores their brilliance. We dare adult allies to join us.
